	As a Senior System Administrator, I was responsible for day-to-day system administration and user support for a 300-user engineering community. I also developed custom-written CGI and interactive applications both for end-user use and to automate administrative tasks. Key accomplishments included leading a project to deploy Netscape Mail to 300 engineers, development of an interactive Perl application to administrate mail groups in an LDAP server, and coordination of a move of 700+ systems to a new facility, which was accomplished successfully over the span of just 2 weeks.

	While working as a technical staff member for Taos Mountain Software, the leading Silicon Valley UNIX system administration consulting firm, I worked on a variety of projects for corporate clients, including McAfee Associates, Sun Microsystems, and Network Equipment Technologies. Key accomplishments included the design and implementation of a Web-based project deliverable management system, design and implementation of a back-end process to submit credit card charges from a Web site to an IC-Verify credit card processing terminal, and development of an automated process for deploying JavaStation thin-client workstations across an enterprise.
	Jun 1996 – Sep 1996 Adobe Systems, Inc., S. Jose CA
	Quality Assurance Engineer (contract)
	During this 3-month contract position with Adobe, I was one of three QA Engineers working on the UNIX version of the Adobe Acrobat product. I provided white-box testing on multiple platforms, developed test automation, and wrote Acrobat plug-ins to automate portions of the user interface acceptance test suite. I also hand-coded PDF and PostScript files to verify correct program behavior in boundary conditions – such as when the maximum number of objects per page is exceeded – and was the lead QA engineer for the Linux version of Acrobat 3.0.
