Why "Taylored Software"?

Every so often we are asked about our company name, and its unusual spelling. Frequently people point out, "oh, by the way, did you know you spelled 'tailored' wrong?"

We laugh and reply, "we spelled it that way on purpose." The real tale behind our name comes from a very strange coincidence: our two partners, D. A. Taylor and Tamara Cravit, have the same last name.

It turns out that the name "Cravit," which comes from the name "Kravitz," actually means..."tailor."

Given that both our partners came from long lines of "Taylors" and "tailors," and that we both value creating quality custom software for our clients, we like to say to all our customers:

"Let us create a 'Taylor Made' solution to your software development needs."
